Now you have found your land, navigated the law, built your cabin, kitted it out with furniture, collected your food, and bought your cheapest possible computer, you might want to include some services that provide connectivity like internet. How about Starlink for £19 up front and £9 monthly?
Starlink have given me a personal referral code. I will include the links for the UK and USA. In the UK the deal is free device rental, £19 up front, then as low as £9 monthly if anyone wants to get very cheap satellite. They will also put £40 back in your bank after two months of payments. The deals do vary internationally, the USA deal is different and for a different option on the list.
I logged out and checked the page and the total amount paid today would be £19 up front to send you the devices, which is on rental on the cheapest Residential plan. In the USA the cheaper plans are the Roam plans. Its a rolling 30 day plan so you can cancel anytime, but you might need to send it back if you do.
Once you have paid the up front fee, you can then swap to the £9 monthly standby plan as well, this will mean you can avoid sending it back and keep it active as a backup, or if you want the cheapest option, otherwise it might bill you £40 each month for 100mbps. The Standby Plan is the cheapest option and is 0.5mbps, unlimited data, anywhere you go. 500kbps is just enough to stream YouTube videos at the lowest quality YouTube offers.
Not bad £19 up front then £9 monthly for satellite (which is 0.5mbps unlimited).
